I went downtown on a business meeting and tried DOlce vita afterwards. the food was excellent, as was the service. the menu is on the smaller side, but I easily found something I wanted and would recommend going to if you're in the neighborhood, or want a change of scenery.

Great for brunch says it all. $15 for brunch in NY is a good deal, and the ambiance here makes it really special. The prices for dinner seem disproportionately higher though, but for brunch, it's well worth it!

if you haven't already, try the apple risotto. i havent seen it at any other restaurant, and it was quite good. i like risotto, and this was certainly not the typical run of the mill dish.
