The service at Bardolino was significantly better on my most recent visit. Generous portions of grilled fish, and very good salads too. My only complaint is the bread...at an Italian restaurant you want good, fresh bread and olive oil, not slices of wheat bread from a bag and some butter...

Great Food on a Snowy Night
Bardolino is the perfect place when you want a nice night out without spending a fortune or leaving the neighborhood. The waitress was very attentive (and significantly better than past service there), and the manager let us know when a food request that we had made couldn't be accomodated. All of the food was generous portions and good quality, and if you like chocolate the chocolate gellato is the dessert to try.

Still good, but ups price in a recession.
Went to Bardolino, an old favorite we haven't been to in a few months. Food, service, and atmosphere still very good but surprised to see prices of food and drinks have gone up in a time of recession.
